The 3rd Sawit Indonesia Expo and Conference 2025 Set for August 7–9, 2025 to Showcase Hundreds of Palm Oil Technologies and Products in Riau

Jakarta, SAWIT INDONESIA - The 3rd Sawit Indonesia Expo (SIEXPO) 2025 is set to take place from Thursday, August 7 to Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the Pekanbaru Convention and Exhibition (Ska-Coex) Center in Riau Province. Organized by Majalah Sawit Indonesia, the event will feature 150 exhibitors presenting hundreds of technologies and palm oil products aimed at improving productivity for companies and farmers.

Under the theme "Innovative Technology and Value-Added Palm Oil Products for Indonesia Emas 2045," SIEXPO 2025 aims to unite industry stakeholders to support the country’s economic goals.

"This year, Majalah Sawit Indonesia is once again organizing the Sawit Indonesia Expo to present the latest technologies and innovations in the palm oil industry to achieve productivity targets. In addition, SIEXPO 2025 wants to be part of the government's goal of increasing palm oil production to 100 million tons by 2045," said Qayuum Amri, Chairman of the SIEXPO 2025 Organizing Committee, in an official statement.

Qayuum noted that the theme aligns with President Prabowo Subianto’s Asta Cita vision to strengthen downstream processing in the plantation sector and advance Indonesia’s technology and innovation capacity. "That is why this year’s SIEXPO is still being held in Riau, as it is the benchmark for Indonesia’s palm oil industry. This province is the country’s largest palm oil producer and is fully integrated with the downstream sector," he explained.

Organizers expect to surpass last year’s attendance of over 6,000 visitors, targeting between 8,000 and 10,000 attendees seeking the latest information on upstream and downstream palm oil technologies and products. This year’s exhibition will expand to 150 booths, including outdoor displays of trucks, heavy equipment, and harvesting transport units.

"We hope buyers will be able to see the heavy equipment and trucks directly, and that transactions will take place just like at SIEXPO 2024. Last year, many units sold out on the spot," Qayuum said. He noted that last year’s event also saw tens of thousands of palm oil seeds and agrochemicals sold directly, with many orders on waiting lists.

Beyond heavy machinery, the exhibition will highlight technologies such as drones, internet services, harvesting tools, and fertilization systems. Several universities and palm oil education institutes will also participate.

This year, Majalah Sawit Indonesia is partnering with the Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency to hold the Pekan UKM Sawit Nusantara, a platform to promote and market small and medium enterprise (SME) palm oil products during SIEXPO 2025.

"This involvement of SMEs is what differentiates SIEXPO from other palm oil industry exhibitions. We want to give our SME partners the opportunity to move up in class and help improve access to marketing their products," said Yasin Permana, Marketing Director of Majalah Sawit Indonesia.

The SME program will include workshops and discussions among SME participants, industry representatives, associations, and government agencies, covering topics such as palm oil seedling development, value-added SME products, and organic fertilizer production.

In addition to the exhibition, visitors can attend seminars on palm oil processing technologies and strategies to achieve Indonesia’s production target of 100 million tons by 2045. Scheduled speakers include Sahat Sinaga (Chairman of DMSI), Eddy Martono (Chairman of GAPKI), Dr. Gulat Manurung (Chairman of APKASINDO), Shell, IAS Global Pte. Ltd, and Dr. Rino Afrino (Editorial Board of Majalah Sawit Indonesia).
