Jakarta, SAWIT INDONESIA — Data resmi Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) menunjukkan nilai ekspor crude palm oil (CPO) dan turunannya pada periode Januari–Februari 2026 sebesar US,69 miliar atau terjadi peningkatan signifikan sebesar 26,40 persen secara kumulatif dibandingkan periode yang sama tahun sebelumnya.
Deputi Bidang Statistik Distribusi dan Jasa BPS, Ateng Hartono, dalam Rilis Berita Resmi Statistik di Jakarta, Rabu (1/4/2026), menjelaskan perkembangan kinerja ekspor komoditas unggulan pada awal tahun 2026.
“Kinerja ekspor komoditas unggulan selama bulan Januari-Februari tahun 2026, antara lain nilai ekspor CPO dan turunannya naik cukup tinggi yaitu sebesar 26,40 persen secara kumulatif,” kata Ateng.
Secara rinci, nilai ekspor CPO dan turunannya pada Januari–Februari 2026 tercatat sebesar US,69 miliar, meningkat dibandingkan periode yang sama tahun 2025 sebesar US,71 miliar. Dari sisi volume, ekspor CPO dan turunannya juga mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan, dari 3,33 juta ton pada Januari–Februari 2025 menjadi 4,54 juta ton pada periode yang sama tahun 2026.
Peningkatan ekspor CPO dan turunannya ini turut berkontribusi terhadap kinerja ekspor nonmigas Indonesia yang secara keseluruhan mencatatkan pertumbuhan positif. “Ekspor nonmigas tercatat naik sebesar 2,82 persen (year on year) dengan nilai sebesar US,35 miliar,” jelasnya.
Ateng menambahkan bahwa sektor industri pengolahan menjadi pendorong utama pertumbuhan ekspor nonmigas, termasuk dari komoditas berbasis sawit. “Sektor industri pengolahan menjadi pendorong utama atas peningkatan kinerja ekspor nonmigas sepanjang Januari sampai dengan Februari tahun 2026 dengan andilnya sebesar 5,36 persen,” ucapnya.
Selain CPO dan turunannya, peningkatan ekspor industri pengolahan juga didorong oleh komoditas lain seperti nikel, kendaraan bermotor roda empat atau lebih, semikonduktor dan komponen elektronik, serta kimia dasar organik berbasis hasil pertanian.
Sementara itu, dari sisi sektoral, kontribusi ekspor nonmigas pada Februari 2026 didominasi oleh industri pengolahan sebesar US,55 miliar, diikuti sektor pertambangan dan lainnya sebesar US,15 miliar, serta sektor pertanian, perikanan, dan kehutanan sebesar US

Dengan kinerja tersebut, CPO dan produk turunannya kembali menegaskan posisinya sebagai salah satu komoditas unggulan yang menopang pertumbuhan ekspor Indonesia di awal tahun 2026. Sejalan dengan hal tersebut, Menteri Pertanian (Mentan) Andi Amran Sulaiman menekankan bahwa peningkatan ekspor CPO dan turunannya tidak terlepas dari upaya penguatan hilirisasi sektor pertanian yang terus didorong pemerintah untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah produk.
Ke depan Kementerian Pertanian (Kementan) akan terus memperkuat ekosistem produksi, pengolahan, hingga pemasaran komoditas strategis guna meningkatkan nilai tambah serta memperkokoh ekonomi nasional berbasis sektor pertanian.
“Kalau CPO kita olah menjadi margarin, kosmetik, dan produk turunan lainnya, dunia akan sangat bergantung pada Indonesia. Kita kuasai lebih dari 60 persen pasar dunia. Artinya Indonesia sangat menentukan. Dan ini harus terus kita dorong hilirisasinya," ungkap Mentan Amran.
