Jakarta, SAWIT INDONESIA— Amid global economic challenges, the Indonesian palm oil industry is gearing up for the 4th Sawit Indonesia Expo and Conference (SIEXPO) 2026. Scheduled to take place from August 6–8, 2026, at Ska Co-Ex Pekanbaru, Riau, this year's event highlights an expanded footprint, bringing together everyone from multinational corporations to local small businesses.
Organizers are eyeing a major turnout, targeting between 6,000 to 8,000 visitors—a significant jump from previous years.
Under the theme "Collaboration, Innovation, and Resilience of the Palm Oil Industry," SIEXPO 2026 aims to strengthen the synergy between the government, businesses, academia, and local communities.
While heavy industries usually dominate such expos, SIEXPO is making a deliberate push for inclusivity. Out of the expanded 184 exhibition booths (up from 150 last year), 20 slots have been specially reserved for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and farmers' cooperatives.
"Our tagline is to elevate the small, expand the medium, and maintain the large," said Qayuum Amri, Chairman of the SIEXPO 2026 Organizing Committee. He emphasized that the event aligns with President Prabowo’s Asta Cita national programs.
One-Stop Industry Solution: The exhibition will showcase diverse innovations, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) production, heavy machinery, high-quality palm seeds, fertilizers, drones, green logistics, and electric vehicles.
- Three-Day Comprehensive Conference: Featuring around 20 expert speakers, the conference will dive deep into downstream processing, plantation digitalization, and AI integration in mills.
- Global Networking & Business Matching: The event routinely attracts international buyers from countries like Malaysia and Singapore, driving substantial immediate and post-event business transactions.
- Exclusive Field Trip: Continuing last year's success, attendees will have the chance to participate in an industrial field trip (location currently being finalized).
The event has garnered massive institutional backing, supported by the Riau Provincial Government, major palm oil players like PalmCo, Bumitama Gunajaya Agro, and Triputra Agro Persada, Muar Ban Lee, PT JJ Lapp Cable Indonesia, PT Gaya Makmur FAW Motors, PT Hartec Mitra Mandiri, K+S Asia Pacific PTE Ltd, PT Sumber Inti Global Sukses, TSE Grup, BPDP, as well as influential industry associations including Apkasindo, GAPKI, DMSI,APROBI GIMNI, Aspekpir, and SAMADE.
